Jiaxuan “Rachel” Fu, ESQ.

Rachel Fu is an associate attorney licensed in California, New York, and the People’s Republic of China. She earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law in 2022 and her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL), one of China’s top 5 law schools. In 2019, she participated in an exchange program at Loyola Law School, where she developed a strong interest in the American legal system.
During her academic career, Rachel cultivated a passion for litigation through her participation in moot court competitions and legal clinic work. She competed in the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition, where her team earned the Best Memorial Award. Rachel also served in her university’s Legal Clinic, providing pro bono legal services to underserved communities. Through this experience, she gained hands-on skills in mediation and small claims court proceedings.
Before joining the firm, Rachel worked as an immigration attorney in Los Angeles, where she represented asylum seekers fleeing persecution based on their political opinions. She gained substantial courtroom experience, advocating for clients in bond hearings and removal proceedings before immigration judges and opposing government attorneys.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys watching movies, cooking, baking, and hiking. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
