Michelle (Huahong) Zhang grew up between Canada and China. She earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 2024. At Georgetown, Michelle served as a Law Fellow where she worked with first year law students on their legal writing. During law school, she also combined her legal studies with technology, studying and developing technological and AI applications for legal practice. Drawing on this background in precise communication and innovative problem-solving, she now represents clients in complex insurance defense matters and personal injury litigation. Prior to her legal work, Michelle taught academic writing and LSAT test prep as a private instructor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English Language and Literatures from the University of British Columbia, where she was awarded the Trek Excellence Scholarship and conducted field research in post-war European history and human rights. Michelle Zhang is a member of the State Bar of California and is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
