Ms. Harriett is originally from Chicago, IL, but has lived in the Bay since 2015. She received her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University, School of Law, her Master of Arts in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco, School of Education, and her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Ms. Harriett formerly worked in higher education at the University of San Francisco, Towson University, and San Jose State University.

During law school, Ms. Harriett was a Senior Editor for her school’s news publication, The Advocate, a clinic student with the International Human Rights Clinic, studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland, and completed her externship with the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in their London Office. She received the Cali Award for Academic Excellence in International Business Transaction. At graduation, Ms. Harriett received certificates in International Law: specializations with honors in Public International Law and International Business Law.

Ms. Harriett was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2018.
